This week we learned about Martin Luther King, Jr. We learned he worked hard to get some laws changed to make our country a better place to live.
We wrote about what we could do to make the world a better place.
Enjoy our stories and leave comments. We love to read them.

It sure would be a better place if "people share things to be nice." I like that!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your thoughts about Dr. King and what it takes to make the world a better place. Some of you included the word "share" which is a wonderful concept. Sometimes we share things that we can touch like sharing toys or ice cream. Other times, we share things that we can't touch - like our memories or our thoughts and how we feel with our friends. Both make the world a better place to live.

Great job 2nd grade! There are so many ways you can make the world a better place. I think you all make McKenzie a better place by setting a great example for my 1st graders! Keep up the good work! -Miss Smith
ReplyDeleteThe world would be a better place if everyone thought like the 2nd graders. If you ll keep up the good work you will make McKenzie better and the world.
